welcome to the about me section of my website and thanks for clicking through to the only half serious part of my place on the www.!!! *L* well i better start with the basics right? my name is Sarah as you've probably gathered from my we webpage though my close friends all call me CB lol i won't explain!
anyway i am a 20 year old computer geek! yes a self confessed computer geek! a blind self confessed computer geek! and i damn know it! lol! i have been blind all of my life from birth when my mum found something dodgy with my eyes. i have had about 7/8 opperations to try and retain some light perception i have which isn't really that much, they have succeeded in keeping the little bit of my perception that i still have but it is not likely i will ever regain full sight.
the condition i have that causes my blindness is called Retenopaphy of prematurity this means my retena is not quite attached or something and this is caused by beeing born early. i was born at around 15 weeks early and my mum says very lucky to survive. well i did! i proved the hospital wrong! they only gave me a 25 percent chance of living! anyway enough about that if you would liek to find out more about my condition or blindness in general check out these 2 sites.

about my education.
ok my very first school was a special school for the blind but i soon proved a bit to brainy for it so i was sent to a mainstream school this is where blind and sighted kids are taught in the same school and clas.
i went through 3 of these schools. but failed all of exams .
and now i have a job as a braille proof reader in a place that is very near me. i find this job quite interesting cause it means i can read ppl's bills and find out how much they owe hahaha!
